On Monday, Apple introduced its latest innovation—the iPhone 16—featuring a new external camera button, giving a glimpse of the internal advancements powered by artificial intelligence (AI).
According to CEO Tim Cook, these enhancements will “push the boundaries of what a smartphone can do.” However, Apple faces stiff competition as other tech brands have already incorporated generative AI into their devices.
Alongside the iPhone, Apple revealed updates to its Apple Watch and AirPods. The new features include automatic volume adjustments for in-person conversations and call declining by simply shaking your head.
Additionally, the AirPods Pro will soon function as “clinical-grade” hearing aids for individuals with mild to moderate hearing loss. Apple expects regulatory approval shortly, with the feature set to roll out this fall in over 100 countries, including the U.S., Germany, and Japan.
