California was struck by three earthquakes in under 24 hours, with the largest being a 3.0 magnitude quake northwest of Walker at 12:33 PM on Wednesday. Earlier, a 2.9 magnitude quake hit northeast of Barstow at 10:45 AM, followed by a 2.6 magnitude tremor east of Pacheco at 5:40 PM.
Though minor, residents near the epicenters reported feeling the tremors. Fortunately, no damage or injuries have been reported. However, this increase in seismic activity has sparked renewed concerns about the possibility of “The Big One.”
